Private compute,
fired in a sealed oven.

Run open models on Bittensor subnet 64, where miners work inside sealed hardware and can't read your words; on a GPU someone lends from their browser; or on your own GPU with nothing leaving the tab. Mine with your GPU. Send sealed messages between wallets. Pay per token on Robinhood Chain.

Every answer ends with a receipt: what it cost, which model wrote it, and where it ran.
what powers the answers

Powered by Bittensor. Sealed.

Subnet 64, run by Chutes, serves every model inside confidential-compute hardware. The miner owns the GPU but can't look in. — sealed models are live right now, priced below in USD and TAO per million tokens, read live.

how it works

One question, one GPU, one payment.

You ask

Type in the chat. In private mode your question never leaves your device. Switch modes any time; the conversation carries over.

A GPU answers

A Bittensor miner's, inside sealed hardware. A lender's, picked by wallet address, streaming from their browser tab. Or your own, through WebGPU.

The chain pays

Per token, in USDG credits that settle on Robinhood Chain. On the network the lender keeps 70%. Private mode costs nothing.

is it private?

It depends on the mode. Here's exactly who sees what.

Questions people ask.

What is Bittensor, and how does KILN use it?
Bittensor is a decentralized network where miners compete to serve AI and are paid in TAO. KILN uses subnet 64, run by Chutes. Every model listed there runs inside confidential-compute hardware (Intel TDX), a sealed enclave the miner can't look into. KILN reads the live model list and prices straight from Chutes and streams answers through its gateway.
Two ways to pay on Bittensor
Your own Chutes key. Paste a key from chutes.ai and answers bill your Chutes account, which takes TAO too. The key stays in your browser and goes only to Chutes through this server in passing. KILN credits. Send USDG on Robinhood Chain and each answer costs Chutes' price plus 20%. The Credits page shows whether this server has credits mode switched on.
What is private mode?
The model runs on your own GPU, inside this browser tab, through WebGPU. SmolLM2 360M, Llama 3.2 1B and Qwen2.5 1.5B are available. The weights download once and cache. Your question and the answer never leave your device and it costs nothing. You need Chrome or Edge with WebGPU and a GPU with a few GB of memory.
What is the network?
People lend their GPU from a browser tab on the Mine page. Their tab loads a model, goes online, and answers requests routed to it by wallet address. You pick a lender, your prompt goes to their tab, tokens stream back. It costs $0.01 per 1,000 tokens in credits and the lender keeps 70%. The lender can see your words; the receipt tells you whose GPU answered.
How does mining in a browser work?
Open the Mine page, load a model, click Go online. Your tab connects to KILN over a WebSocket and answers prompts sent to your wallet address, running the model through WebGPU. You keep 70% of what each answer costs, credited to your wallet on the Credits page and paid out in USDG. You need a GPU with 8 GB or more, a recent Chrome or Edge, and a wallet on Robinhood Chain.
What are sealed messages?
Notes between two keys, encrypted on your device before they leave your screen: X25519 key agreement, HKDF, AES-GCM, and every note padded to the same size so the relay can't tell “ok” from a paragraph. The relay only ever carries the sealed box; it sees which keys are talking and when, never a word. Both sides see the same 60-digit safety number; read a few groups to each other once and you know nobody swapped a key.
Are credits real money?
Yes. A top-up is a real USDG transfer on Robinhood Chain to the treasury; the server verifies the receipt and credits your balance. Lender earnings are paid out in USDG from a cold wallet. There is no hot key on the server.
What is $KILN?
The protocol's share token. The 20% margin on credit-paid Bittensor answers and the 30% protocol share of network answers accrue to it. Holders govern the margin, the lender split and which models are listed.

Or mine on Bittensor itself.

For data-center GPUs. Run a Chutes miner on subnet 64 and serve open models to everyone who uses Chutes, KILN's Bittensor chat included. You earn subnet 64's alpha token, which swaps for TAO, paid by the Bittensor network rather than KILN. Validators score every miner. You need a server of data-center GPUs running as Intel TDX confidential VMs, a Bittensor wallet registered on subnet 64, and TAO for the registration fee.
